A travelogue of friends, loved ones, and hosts photographed during a month-long cross-country trip starting in LA, culminating in NYC, and returning by Amtrak train.
A celebration of community as well as public services. Traveling by train through America, while presenting a fantastic view of the varied landscapes and populations, is practically unheard of in a country addicted to private, inefficient, expensive, independent infrastructure. The cherry on top is that all prints and scans were done at the Los Angeles Central Library (for free) at the conclusion of the trip. This series would have been impossible without public services & community investments.
